When a couple hires us for their big day, using the right gear is important, so that we can capture those special moments.
Myself and Emily like to travel light for your big day.
No huge gimbals for us to set up. No fancy equipment,. We like to blend in and make sure that instead of setting up gear, we are doing what you’ve paid for us to do.
Using gear that is lightweight, yet gets the job done and doesn’t sacrifice quality, is what we value.
We invest in gear that will get us the best shots.
We use mirrorless cameras for our video production due to the high quality video they produce whilst being compact and lightweight and we use a film camera for couples who opt-in for our vintage packages.
There’s a saying going around in the photo and video industry that is,
“Gear doesn’t matter”.
We believe that saying is partially true.
Its not about getting the best camera out there for its quality. It’s about knowing your camera that holds the true quality of cinema.
You have to use your head. Cameras are tools to get the job done.
That’s not to say we don’t invest in good gear.
Of course we do.
We invest in gear thats best suits our needs and captures the best moments throughout your big day!
We aren’t like many wedding photographers & videographers that focus on getting new gear all the time.
We focus on you and your love story by storyboarding before our shoots and having free consultations with you before the wedding, so that we don’t miss anything!
Thats what is most important to us as a wedding service.
